Macromedia Studio 8 Johannesburg Launch (Part 2)

Dreamweaver 8 One of my pet hates with the older versions of Dreamweaver was that whenever you ftp'd something on to the web server, you could not do anything in Dreamweaver until the file transfer was finished. Well finally they've fixed that, and all ftp takes place in the background while you can continue working. Designers will be glad to hear that there are now guides and a zoom feature to allow greater control over the design of a page, while developers will enjoy the code collapse feature. Also nice is the good XML support, which among other things enables drag and drop of rss feeds into web pages. PHP 5 support has also been added.
